Southern Tasmanian Badminton Association is managed by a Committee consisting of a President, Vice President, Honorary, Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, Honorary Assistant Secretary, and up to 8 ordinary members, all of whom are elected at an Annual General Meeting of our Mornington badminton Committee of our badminton club in Mornington meets once each month. Southern Tasmanian Badminton Association operates a badminton club in Mornington that hold State and National badminton tournaments. Our badminton club in Mornington oversees the administration of badminton on an overall state level. With our badminton club of Mornington, we have control of sending teams to National carnivals. Our badminton club of Mornington collects and administers capitation fees from the three state clubs.

At Southern Tasmanian Badminton Association of Mornington, our badminton club provides a hall that will usually not be available for hire during our normal badminton sessions although some courts may be available during some sessions. In our badminton club of Mornington, we offer CASUAL SESSIONS that do not need to be registered for these sessions, but you can just turn up and play. We found the exercise a very important learning opportunity in Mornington. Since this time our badminton club has introduced a number of recommendations in Mornington, including a Social Media Strategy. Our badminton club of Mornington now uses social media to engage with the Community and promote the Program, badminton and the badminton centre. Our badminton club of Mornington is now, finding a significant increase in participation from the Community. For example, at our Sunday 5 pm to 7 pm casual court hire sessions, we are often full by !! We have opened up a Sunday 3 pm to the 5 pm session to cater for demand. In our badminton club of Mornington, we aim to outline our strategies over the next 12 months; and to brainstorm strategies in which we can further develop and grow.
