CBM International is an Box Hill International Aid Organisations working with 63 countries around the world to transform lives. In 2015, our Box Hill International Aid Organisations worked directly in 17 of the poorest countries. Together, with our Box Hill International Aid Organisations globally seeks to empower people living with disability in the world’s poorest countries, transforming their lives and breaking down the barriers in their homes and communities that stop them from reaching their full potential. CBM’s priority when working in partnership with other organisations is to develop sustainable community solutions, especially relating to healthcare, education and employment which will promote the full inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of society. We choose partners who are working towards the same vision that we are, and who all have high standards of quality and accountability in their practices.

Accredited International Aid Organisations in Box Hill

Our International Aid Organisations in Box Hill were formerly known as Christian Blind Mission but now we do so much more. Our Box Hill International Aid Organisation's work has widened from serving mainly people with vision impairment. Our Box Hill International Aid Organisations now works in poor communities with people with disability and those at risk, to access healthcare, rehabilitation, education, employment and social opportunities. Our Box Hill International Aid Organisations is now the world’s largest non-government Box Hill International Aid Organisations working with people with disability in the poorest places.

Without these opportunities, our Box Hill International Aid Organisations learned that people with disability and their families often fall deeper into poverty and become more vulnerable to further disability. Our Box Hill International Aid Organisations works to break this persistent cycle. Disability and poverty go hand in hand, so we tackle them together. Working together with partner organisations and people with disabilities, CBM seeks to overcome these barriers and empower people with disabilities to lead full and active lives.
