Bird Watching

The bird club of Budgerigar Council of Victoria Inc. is based in Fawkner, but attracts members and visitors from all parts of Fawkner and beyond. We are a friendly bird club. We're serious about watching birds but also enjoy other wildlife, scenery and one another's company. You are welcome to join our bird club in Fawkner, whether you are an experienced ornithologist or just wanting to learn a little more about the birds around you. The Fawkner Bird Club runs events throughout the year, conducts important survey work and produces annual bird reports. The Fawkner bird club members often give presentations of their photography or the fascinating birding and wildlife expeditions they have taken. The Fawkner bird club of Budgerigar Council of Victoria Inc. is also active in conservation issues in our area in Fawkner and beyond, and works hard to maintain natural habitat in our urban environment.

If someone does drive you to an event, please offer to pay a fair share of the petrol: your offer will probably be refused, but you're more likely to be given a lift the next time.
