The Perth Wildcats of Floreat is an Floreat basketball club that debuted in 1982 and has enjoyed a storied existence as a basketball club with 8 National Championships and 31 consecutive finals appearances. The Perth Wildcats is the most successful Floreat basketball club in NBL history and our mission as a basketball club is to inspire and entertain through excellence in Floreat. We are proud to have been successful in fulfilling that mission as a basketball club in Floreat and other areas to date and will continue to raise the bar among basketball clubs in Floreat and the whole region.

Regular community outreach programs

As one of the most successful and popular basketball clubs in Floreat, we extend our drive towards excellence through active participation as a basketball club in the Floreat community. The Perth Wildcats strive to go beyond just being an Floreat basketball club but also an Floreat community icon as well. Through our various basketball club outreach programs in Floreat, we seek to develop an interest in the sport of basketball among youths and adults of Floreat alike. For the Floreat youth, participation in a basketball club brings new friends and more self-confidence. For adults in Floreat, our drive as a basketball club is to promote greater physical health and an outlet for the reduction of stress.

Our efforts throughout the whole of Floreat have resulted in a huge Perth Wildcats fan base that is popularly called the Red Army. They, in turn, inspire us to greater heights of achievement as a basketball club and give us one of the greatest home court advantages every time we play at the Perth Arena.
